Known for its lightness, Fenjiu is the oldest variety of the Chinese spirit Baijiu, with a history dating back over 6,000 years. This bottle from the Silk Road series is double-fermented and distilled through traditional methods, using spring water drawn from the woodlands of Gouzhuang and ceramic jars to mature the spirit for up to 30 years. The result is a sweet and gentle palate of kumquat, dried apricot and rose petal that pairs perfectly with fish curries and chocolate tarts.
