93/100 — The Wine Front · 2025 Vintage · Tasted: May 2026
About This Wine
Entirely estate grown on the Napoleone Vineyard in Coldstream, this Pinot Noir draws from mature MV6 blocks, with smaller portions of Able, 777 and 115 adding lift and complexity.
Wild fermented and matured in French oak, it captures the depth of the warm 2025 season while retaining structure and perfume, with fine tannins and a long, composed finish.
Producer Notes
Cherries, cola, earth and spice. Dark, powerful and complex.
Serve with roast duck with a sweet–sharp glaze and charred onions, or grilled mushrooms with garlic butter, herbs and lemon.
