Winepilot
Notes of black fruit surrounded by tart red berries, whole-bunch spice and savoury oak. Layers of blackberries, cherries and pomegranate with dried kombu-like umami, poppy seed and molasses-like bitterness. Grippy tannins with potential to evolve further with cellaring.
James Suckling
Precise aromas of red and black cherries, sandalwood, blood oranges and rose petals. Medium-bodied with firm tannins and a savoury, tactile finish. Shows energy and vibrancy with potential to evolve.
