About This Wine
Sourced from the imposing Clos des Corvée monopole, this Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru Vieilles Vignes is regarded as one of the best examples of the Prieuré Roch style and ethos.
The vineyard is situated along the scenic RN74 Route des Grands Crus and produces a wine with the structure often associated with Nuits-Saint-Georges together with more open and expressive aromatics.
The 2023 vintage was described by Yannick Champ as a warm, generous year producing ripe, balanced wines that are deeply expressive of their terroir and embody both indulgence and elegance.
About the Producer
Domaine Prieuré Roch was established in 1988 by Henri Frédéric Roch, former Co-Director of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. The domaine follows a philosophy of producing wines that express vineyard and season without conventional interventions.
Vinification is conducted with 100% whole-cluster fermentation. There is no fining or filtering and fermentations are completed with native yeasts.
