About This Wine

The Last Warrior Red is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, produced by Silver Heights on the eastern slopes of the Helan Mountains in Ningxia, China. 100% hand-picked and selected. The wine pays tribute to the fighting spirit of Ningxia’s people and reflects a terroir shaped by high-altitude sunshine, cool evening breezes, and mineral-rich soils layered with mountain stones and river silt.

Silver Heights manages its vineyards organically and has adopted biodynamic viticulture since 2017, with a focus on sustainability and respect for the land.

Tasting Notes

Fresh, ripe aromas of dark fruit including cherry and blackberry, with additional notes of hawthorn, mint and cigar. The palate is smooth with a lingering finish.

About the Winery

Silver Heights was founded in 2007 by Gao Lin and his daughter Emma Gao. Located in Ningxia, the estate is considered a pioneer of Chinese fine wine, with a long-standing commitment to quality and sustainable viticulture.

Emma Gao, a Bordeaux-trained winemaker, has guided the estate in crafting elegant, organic and artisanal wines that express the terroir of Ningxia.
