Anrar is Kellerei-Cantina Andrian’s flagship Pinot Noir Riserva, grown in Alto Adige at 470 m a.s.l. on loamy limestone soils mixed with white dolomite stone. Yields are restricted to 40 hl/ha. Grapes undergo must fermentation in stainless steel vats with controlled fermentation techniques and must movement, followed by malolactic fermentation and ageing in new barriques.
The wine shows an intense ruby-red colour. The bouquet is complex and multilayered, with aromas of wild berries and cherries, accented by sweet spice notes and smoky undertones. On the palate, stimulating acidity, soft tannins and a compact body lead to a long, elegant finish.
