A refined Chianti Classico Riserva from Vallepicciola in Castelnuovo Berardenga, combining the freshness and structure of Sangiovese with the depth expected of a Tuscan Riserva. The 2021 vintage shows dark and red fruit, floral and savoury complexity, bright acidity and composed tannins, with 94-point acclaim from Raffaele Vecchione.
Winemaking
The wine is based on Sangiovese and matured in French oak, building complexity while retaining the freshness, savoury character and structural definition of Chianti Classico.
