Hewing closer to the ‘seriousâ€?end of the pinot noir spectrum than we’d normally see (thanks to a very low-yielding vintage), the nose is all luscious red fruit—strawberries, rhubarb, redcurrants and maraschino cherries—while the palate brings in some more savoury, peppery notes and some earthy, dusty tannins. Enjoyably complex, it’ll pair beautifully with a winter-vegetable ratatouille.
