The Thing is our top of the line Shiraz here at Sorby Adams.Ā Sourced from our Home Vineyard high in the Eden Valley at 475Ā metres above sea level. Planted by Pastor Franz Julius Lehmann inĀ 1932, the low-yielding, gnarled vines are some of the oldest in theĀ region. Only our best barrels make their way into this classic, cool-Ā climate Shiraz, why the old-vine fruit of the Eden Valley is so highly sought after.
The Thing is made from fruit grown in low yielding hand pruned Eden Valley and Barossa Valley Shiraz vineyards dating back to the 1930s. Highly awarded, much sought after and limited hand-crafted quantities.
