Overview

A formidable mature Barossa Valley Shiraz from one of Greenock Creek's most celebrated labels, presented in the highly desirable 1.5L Magnum format. Roennfeldt Road combines remarkable concentration with a strong yet velvety tannin structure, while the 2012 release brings together dark berry fruit, espresso, sandalwood, cedar and chocolatey complexity. Its maturity, pedigree and rare large format make this an especially compelling bottle for collectors of classic Barossa Shiraz.

Vineyard

The vines were planted on hard clays mixed with deep alluvial loam. Vine age contributes density through the production of small bunches, while supporting the wine's characteristic strong yet velvety tannin structure.
