Critic Reviews
95/100 — Erin Larkin, Robert Parker Wine Advocate Tasted January 2024 “The 1998 Moonambel Shiraz leads with rocks and coffee grounds, graphite and resin, blood and tar. … The wine is mineral and fine yet has a surging upswell of fruit power. The gentle Bonox aromas translate eloquently in the mouth, giving this a very exciting, light/dark character. It's in a great place for drinking right now and is maturing nicely.” Drinking Window: 2024–2040.
95/100 — Jeremy Oliver Tasted January 2003 Drinking Window: 2006–2010.
93/100 — James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion Tasted 07 March 2000 “Medium to full red-purple; the very rich bouquet has masses of ripe blood plum and pronounced spice, together with hints of vanilla. Sweet fruit carries right through from the start to the very finish of the complex flavour and structure of the palate.” Published 30 June 2021
