About This Wine
Penfolds St Henri is a long-standing expression of the Penfolds house style, traditionally matured in large seasoned oak rather than new barriques.
The 1992 vintage is described as medium-deep crimson with fresh salted liquorice, dark chocolate and dark cherry aromas with leafy violet notes.
The palate shows moderately concentrated but restrained flavours of cherry, salted liquorice, dark chocolate and dried fruit with lacy acidity and lightly leafy tannins, finishing firm and crisp.
