Overview

A rare presentation of one of Australia's historic fortified wines, the 1985 Seppeltsfield Para Centennial Collection Vintage Tawny captures the extraordinary concentration and complexity for which Para has become renowned. Produced in the Barossa Valley and presented in a distinctive 100ml bottle with wooden presentation box and Certificate of Authenticity, this is a particularly collectible expression of Seppeltsfield's fortified wine heritage.

Winemaking

Para is a single-vintage fortified wine matured in small oak barrels under warm cellar conditions. The warm environment encourages evaporation, with an estimated 3% lost each year to the “angels' share”, progressively concentrating the wine's flavour, aroma and viscosity during maturation.
