About This Wine
The 2023 Bourgogne 'Roses' Rosé marks the return of this wine, which has not been produced since 2017.
The wine is produced from fruit sourced from Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges.
The wine was matured in old oak for 12 months.
Producer Notes
A rosé unlike any other, this is more akin to a serious red wine that looks pink in the glass but has imposing aromas of pot pourri and forest floor tones.
About the Producer
Domaine Prieuré Roch was established in 1988 by Henri Frédéric Roch, who also served as Co-Director of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti.
The domaine has practised organic viticulture since its inception and ferments with 100% whole clusters and wild yeasts. Wines are produced without fining or filtering.
The 2023 vintage was described by Yannick Champ as a warm, generous year that produced ripe, balanced wines deeply expressive of their terroir.
