Vineyard
The Tom Cullity is sourced from the oldest vines at the Vasse Felix Home Vineyard in Wilyabrup. The site’s gravelly loam soils over clay, moderated by the Indian Ocean’s cooling influence, produce fruit of remarkable purity, structure, and longevity — a true expression of the region’s classical Cabernet terroir.

Winemaking
Hand-harvested and meticulously sorted fruit was fermented in small parcels with gentle extraction and partial whole-bunch inclusion. The wine matured for 18 months in fine French oak barriques (about 50% new), followed by extended bottle ageing at the estate prior to release. The final blend combines Cabernet Sauvignon (approx. 80%) with Malbec (20%) to amplify fragrance, colour, and texture.
