About This Wine

South Australia's Barossa Region and Shiraz go hand-in-hand. Regular warm sunny days, with nights that are surprisingly cool, ensure this moderate climate variety can ripen fully without losing too much natural acidity.

18 months barrel maturation in 70% American oak hogsheads, of which 4% new, and 30% French oak, of which 3% new.

Producer Notes

Fresh spicy fruit aromas and a dark berry fruit palate with liquorice flavours make for a complex and rewarding tasting experience. With good mid-palate density and a long soft finish, this wine may be enjoyed now or matured for up to five years to develop more complex tertiary, earthy flavours over time.
