Nose:  Aromas of blue fruits, violets, and cracked black pepper set the tone, followed by fresh mulberries, wild white strawberries, and boysenberries, which are complemented by a richer panforte note. A freshly baked panettone with vanilla cream adds a touch of sweetness. Savory elements emerge with hints of roast beef, horseradish, paprika, Moroccan spices, struck match, and pencil shavings.

Palate:  Medium-bodied, especially when compared to the warmer climate Bin 28 Shiraz. The blue fruits from the nose are present, but the palate leans more toward savory flavors—cured meats, pepper, olives, and paprika competing for attention. Almond kernels and cardamom add complexity, while silky tannins are intricately woven around the fruit. The acid line is precise, offering a balanced structure. A refined wine now, with decades of aging potential for those patient enough to wait.
