Established in 1893, Wendouree has earned legendary status among collectors for producing some of Australia's most distinctive and age-worthy wines. The historic estate vineyards contain old-vine Shiraz planted on ironstone-rich Clare Valley soils, delivering wines of remarkable concentration, structure, and regional character.

The cooler 2011 vintage presented challenges throughout South Australia, yet Wendouree's meticulous vineyard management and low-yielding old vines produced a Shiraz of classical proportion, freshness, and elegance.
