Named after the historic Abbotts Flat region in Lenswood, this wine represents one of Henschke’s most elegant and refined red blends, combining Merlot richness with Cabernet structure and long-lived complexity.

Sourced from the elevated Lenswood vineyards in the Adelaide Hills, the wine reflects the region’s cool climate, extended growing season, and naturally high acidity, all of which contribute to finesse and longevity. The 1999 vintage produced wines of balance and classical structure, allowing Abbotts Prayer to age gracefully over more than two decades.
